Jourdan Wechter, owner of Mae Bloom (Fishers, IN), has always had a somewhat entrepreneurial mindset. If you ask her mom, she was always selling something that she made. Jourdan was also a Visual Manager for quite a few years with a well known retailer that places a lot of value on creativity through window/floor/shop displays. One installation was all about Macrame. Jourdan had notexperience with macrame, but the solution was simple - YouTube it and figure it out. She did and she loved it! She finally decided to open her small business in November of 2020. Ever since then, she’s been expanding and learning more about her craft & art everyday!
